The fanatic Q is without a doubt the finest components ever offered by Rockford Fosgate. The fanatic Q mid/woofer features a proprietary molded ABS basket designed to completely eliminate unwanted resonance. The woofer cone is a 3 layer glass fiber composite cone with an internal honeycomb structure for a light weight structure that doesnt deform or flex during high excursion. The rubber surround is specifically designed to reduce unwanted reflections that can ruin low frequency sound reproduction. The mid/woofer also features a 1.25" multi-layer copper voice coil wound on an anodized aluminum former. Combine this with a vented magnet assembly and the result is optimal heat dissipation during the most demanding musical passages. The fanatic Q tweeter features an aluminum dome with a silk surround.
